Mental distress statement

The teachHOUSTON student society was designed to serve as a community for all students in the program. As we enter spring it is important to keep in mind that we are still dealing with the stressors caused by the pandemic and winter storm on top of anxiety related to mid-terms. We want you to know that you are cared for, you have resources for help, and advocates in the form of teachHOUSTON faculty members:

Please contact tHadvising@uh.edu to speak with the program advisor, Dr. Shields, or one of the master teachers.
